The Q-STRATA is an archetype system that has been created to reward the users to proficiently derive the objectives, aims and strategies laid down by their Organisation. It instantly makes the user aware of their status with reference to the plan.

The relevant industry specific (customizable) Marine performance indicators (MPI) and the Key performance indicators (KPI) have been entered in the Q-Strata. The MPI and KPI are measurable to define the Company’s Quality standard, inspection results (SIRE, CDI, PSC, other internal inspections), incidents, staff performance, claims and budgets. This makes it possible to quantify the actual value and make the actual comparable to the benchmark value and lead to the achievable goals set by the management. The realization and standardization of the MPI and KPI is time phased. The data and the evaluation of occurrences is done in a time dimension to deliver the resultant KPIs and MPIs. The Q-Strata assists the organization in achieving success by identifying the areas of activity that require greater attention. Q-Strata strikes a balance between a comprehensive set of MPIs, KPIs, Information and Big Data.

Dashboard and Notifications

Several dashboards are incorporated in the Q-Strata to track MPIs, KPIs, metrics, inspections, incidents, claims, budgets and other key data relevant to the specific process. These dashboards simplify complex data sets to provide users awareness of their current performance at a glance.

Performance Monitoring & Benchmarking

Based on key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring system and weighing principles set by the management to measure the performance standards, the system uses the scaled range from 0-100, i.e. from unacceptable standards to outstanding performance.

KPIs in turn are used to calculate the MPIs to express performance within specific crucial areas. The system allows the user to compare; fleet, managers or groups to see the best and worst performers.

Incident Reporting & Management

Q Strata enables the users to report and record incidents and accidents based on their category, severity and potential. The system analyses the reports to assist the user develop an action plan and follow-up. This module has features that ensure the responsible person will define action plans within a given time limit. The system enables the user to view the cross-references between selected names of vessels, groups of vessels or vessel types and specific factors. The color codes on the report provide the status and severity of each record.

Inspections Reporting & Management

The inspections such as SIRE, CDI, Port state control, terminal and others can be all managed through the Q – Strata. Our data entry teams maintain an up to date database with the latest SIRE and CDI questionnaire versions. The data entry teams work continuously to receive and import the ship inspection reports into the system for populating the database with the inspection result and observations, this benefits the end users in saving their time and energy to carry out their essential tasks.

Inspection status and planner allows the users to track and schedule the inspections. The system alerts the users for the due and overdue inspections by sending a status email to the relevant persons in charge of the vessels.

The users can easily locate and manage the observations including entering the preventive actions, corrective actions, follow-up and closeout the observations within the system.

The analysis is readily available on the dashboard to view the organization’s overall performance and status. The ready view of the low, medium and high risk elements illustrated on the dashboard assists the users in planning their actions accordingly.

The sophisticated row and column filters facilitate multiple combinations for the users to search the inspection database, for e.g. filter by accepted or rejected, by inspector names, masters, ships, port of inspection and many more are available through the system.

The advanced drill down features allow the users to simply click and quickly arrive at the root without having to navigate through different sections of the system.

Fleet Operating Expenses (OPEX), Dry Dock Planning & Budgets

The Q Strata has a simple and harmonized area for setting up yearly budgets and entering the monthly actual expenses against account headers. Being industry specific the system makes it easy for the users to manage their budget codes and analyze the financials at any time through the intuitive dashboard to compare the budget variances.

The dry docks can be planned and budgeted through this system. The actual costs versus the budgeted costs along-with the variances are recoded and analyzed in the system.
